TL;DR Organizing for 2026 may be a few months away but Good Fight’s clients are using our tech suite to creatively fight back against the Trump administration.

As a California-based business political consulting company, Good Fight is deeply connected to the immigrant communities targeted by the Trump administration. ICE and the U.S. military have descended on places Downey, the City of Bell, and MacArthur Park to rip families apart for the sick satisfaction of Trump and Stephen Miller.

The good thing about working in politics for the past 15+ years is that I can always find meaningful ways to help. That’s bolstered by Good Fight’s suite of tech tools that help candidates and organizing groups reach voters and vulnerable communities. Here are ways Good Fight clients are using our tech + consulting expertise to help immigrants and fortify our democracy.

U.S. House Members Sharing Tools

As a consultant for several Democratic House members, we have many clients with large immigrant communities in their districts. We work with Representatives and their offices to share information about civil rights entitled to immigrants who cross paths with immigration officials, as well as ways for constituents to track their family members detained up by ICE. Trump and his administration are breaking the law and disregarding judicial rulings to swiftly detain and deport individuals without due process. It’s unAmerican and Good Fight clients serving in Congress are fighting to protect those who are most vulnerable.

Canvassing to Protect Neighbors

While campaigns are not in full swing for 2026 just yet, Good Fight clients are employing canvassing to talk to community members and share vital information about rights and how to navigate an encounter with ICE or the military who have descended on Los Angeles. Immigrants have been pushed into the shadows and a friendly face, knocking on doors and sharing information about civil rights and due process can help save someone and potentially keep a family together. Training volunteers and staff members on being cautious and caring while canvassing will go a long way to building trust with those who may be fearful when hearing a knock on the door.

Vigils, Protests, & Making Good Trouble

Getting together with those who fiercely love our communities and are standing up for immigrants targeted by the Trump administration is another way our clients are speaking out against inhumane policies. Our clients have texted their supporters and community members and turned out impressive crowds for vigils for those detained.

If they didn’t think we were powerful, they wouldn’t try to take away our civil rights. That’s why it’s important to flex our First Amendment muscles by getting together and speaking out publicly against this heinous administration.

Our Perspective

Both of our Co-Founders here at Good Fight Political were enmeshed in the heart of the Resistance to Donald Trump 1.0. As the National Field & Digital Director for Let America Vote, Suzy and I worked alongside many of the other prominent resistance groups of those years to galvanize voters and activists against Donald Trump in the Virginia elections of 2017, and then the Blue Wave of 2018. We know that many of those same activists and voters today are wondering where that movement went and why it’s not the same as last time. The why on that is a longer topic for another day and another blog post, but the where is simple - it’s right here, still fighting, still using voter contact and mobilization to work against the authoritarianism of Donald Trump and working hard everyday on behalf of our communities across the country.
